Whisperfern is a small handmade jewelry shop. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit whisperfern.com or place an order, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we only collect what we need to make and ship your order and to stay in touch if you ask us to, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide one, and the details of what you ordered.
Payment details: card and payment information is entered directly with our payment providers and handled by them. We never see or store your full card number.
When you join our circle (email signup): your email address.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you browse the site: we use privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor statistics that count visits and popular pages without identifying you personally. Our store also notes how you found us (for example, from a search engine or social media) and connects that to your order, which helps us understand what’s working.
How we use it
- To process, make, pack, and ship your order
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and answers to your questions
- To send our email updates, only if you signed up for them
- To improve the shop and understand which products and pages people enjoy
- To keep the records we’re required to keep for taxes and accounting
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services needed to run the shop:
- Payment providers: WooPayments (powered by Stripe) and PayPal. If you choose Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Affirm, Afterpay, or Klarna at checkout, that provider also receives the details it needs to complete your payment.
- Shipping: your name and address are shared with our shipping label service and USPS so your package can be delivered.
- Our website host, which stores the site and its data.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We may share information if required by law.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies that are needed for the shop to work, such as remembering what’s in your cart and keeping checkout running smoothly, plus one that remembers how you found us so it can be connected to your order. We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, and handling any returns or questions. We keep your email address for our updates until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
- You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except for records we’re required to keep by law.

Our shop is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
